My Inspiration...
Inspired by my own children I started Star & Bean in 2017 as a children’s store. The aim was to offer an alternative to the more traditional children’s boutiques I was seeing locally by offering a modern alternative with a fresh take on colours and styles for children, bringing new and exciting brands together and fostering a conscious approach to shopping by buying better and therefore less, rewearing and handing down.
Since then the store has evolved into a lifestyle store for all the family adding womenswear and homewares to my product selection along side the children’s ranges. But the core principles of good quality and timeless design remain together with a desire to encourage slow and conscious shopping, steering away from fast moving trends and maintaining a signature pallet of beautiful soft tones.
Its a pleasure to create the store I want to see on the high street...a peaceful space filled with beautiful things which bring something extra special to the everyday.
